Welcome to the Apple Tree Kids Club Latchkey Program! I would like to start off by introducing myself to everyone so that you can get to know me better. My name is Shannon Reinhold and I am the Director of the Apple Tree Kids Club Latchkey Program. I have been the director for 1 1/2 school years now and enjoy it greatly. I have been in the child care field for over 16 years and I am currently going to school to finish my degree in Early Education. My family and I have been residents of Prairie du Rocher for a little over 6 years.
Our license is for an all day program, unfortunately, at this time we do not have the demand to run the all day program, but we will continue to monitor the need for this service. If on days that the school is not in session and you need care, we do offer the opportunity to bring your child/children to the Red Bud center. All we ask is that you give us a heads up so Jada can make the appropriate arrangements for extra staff if needed. You can contact myself at 284-3530 ext. 241 or call Jada at 282-4555.
With the school moving the early dismissal time from 1:00 pm to 11:55 am, they will not be serving lunch to the children. Due to this fact, we ask that you send a sack lunch and your child/children on those days if they will be attending latchkey in the afternoon. We will be purchasing milk to serve with the lunches from the school. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me. Please do not worry, if you or they forget to bring their lunch, we will make other arrangements for them to have lunch, and I will not let them go without!
