On March 17, 2010, the Prairie du Rocher Board of Education voted to discontinue the latchkey program with The Apple Tree. A new before and after-school program will be provided by the Prairie du Rocher School District. Apple Tree will continue to operate the program until March 31, 2010, and beginning April 1, 2010, the School District will oversee the program.

The school district program will continue with the same services and costs that are already in place for the remainder of this school year.

· $20.00 per week for the before-school program (6:00-8:30 a.m.)

· $20.00 per week for the after-school program (3:30-6:00 p.m.)

To better meet the needs of student families the school district will also provide a flexible before and after school program that will begin on April 1, 2010. Parents will be able to use this service on an as-needed basis; the daily rate is $5.00 per a.m. or p.m. session.
